Remixed. Wallpaper by Arthur Slenk
By the unique collaboration between Arthur Slenk and NLXL, the wallpaper collection Remixed. by Arthur Slenk has been developed.
NLXL has selected 8 of the designs of Partituur for a new wallpaper collection.
The result is simply astonishing. New state-of-the art scanning techniques were developed to capture the depth of the paper clippings.
The vintage feel of the yellowed paper combined with the history behind the sheet music makes it look like a historical document on a wall.
NLXL was founded in the Netherlands in november 2010 by Rick and Esther Vintage. The company focusses on premium quality wallpaper. NLXL is known for the Scrapwood Wallpaper collection, brainchild of designer Piet Hein Eek and NLXL founder Rick Vintage. This collection won the Editor’s award at ICFF New York in 2011 and can be found in the permanent collection of Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Museum. Recently the company introduced the “Brooklyn Tins” wallpaper collection for Paris based concept store “Merci” and “Concrete Wallpaper” by Piet Boon. The latest collection is “Remixed. Wallpaper by Arthur Slenk”.
Now, two years later, the collections are available at more than 2500 resellers in over 70 countries.
NLXL Wallpaper has no repeat. This means that no 2 planks are the same in the Scrapwood Wallpaper collection, or each tin is unique in the Brooklyn Tins collection etc. (obviously each roll is the same). This is what makes the NLXL wallpaper collections unique.
